DESCRIPTION

Kinematics and dynamics of the three-dimensional motion of particles; kinematics and dynamics of the plane motion of rigid bodies; methods of work energy and impulse momentum; moving reference frames.

ASSESSMENT/GRADES

Final Grade = 30% Individual homework assignments + 10% In class quizzes / participation + 30% Midterm exam + 30% Final exam
Homework will be due by by the corresponding date via the shared folder in PoliformaT. The homework problems can be edited in text editors or simply made with pen and paper and scanned. Late submissions will not be accepted.
The exams will be closed book and problem oriented. Only non-programmable calculators and the collection of homework problems will be allowed during the exams. Cell phones may NOT be used as calculators. Calculators may NOT be shared during the exam. Cell phone, computers, and all other electronics must be turned off and placed in a backpack during the entire examination. The backpack must be placed on the floor for the entire examination.
