Science, Technology and Innovation (S&T&I) are determining factors in the economic and cultural development of today’s society. The main objective of this course, S&T&I, is that it provides to the students an updated knowledge of the different aspects of the Science, Technology and Innovation system, as well as of the existing mechanisms of the interaction with society, business and other agents involved in the Innovation System
• Introduce concepts of Science, Technology and Innovation, as well as to enhance the relevance of innovation projects for companies from the point of view of their management, assessment, evaluation and implementation.
• Demonstrate the implications of the innovative process for the company, the staff and the management of resources and competitiveness
• The set of concepts necessary for the planning and development of an innovation strategy is included, specifying aspects related not only to the need to plan a strategic direction for innovation and technology, but also to deepen the knowledge of the innovative process, the factors that affect it, as well as the formulation of the innovation strategy, the management of the technologies that the company will use and the knowledge transfer.
• The rest of the topics in the program affects the set of elements inside the company that must be dealt properly for the successful achievement of the innovative strategy, such as in short term, the strategic support.
• The basic concepts related to the process of organizational development, the preparation of the environment of acceptance of change, the introduction of creativity in the company, as well as the design of an organizational structure flexible for the continuous adoption of innovations will be also analyzed.
